Travel insurance covering a cruise

We are looking for travel insurance which will include cover for the 7 day Alaskan cruise we will be undertaking this year. The cruise is half-way through a touring holiday in Canada/America.

I noticed that comparethemarket does give details of insurers who include cruise cover or charge extra but moneysupermarket does not yet moneysupermarket is generally cheaper overall.
Does anyone have any idea if cruise cover is routinely included in travel insurance policies?

You need to cover the cruise as part of the Travel Policy you have taken out for the rest of your trip.

You cannot arrange a seperate policy mid way through another trip.

Ring the Insurers you have cover for your current trip insured with and ask them what cover they provide for cruises.
