underfloor heating - advice?

Options
Hi,

I have bought a some slate to lay in the extention I have built on the kitchen.

I have been told it would be best to put down underfloor heating. I have been looking around and there seems to be so much to choose from. I think it will be the dry system but they all seem to vary in cost

Has anyone got any advice or tips. I have seen a system in wickes for £260 with probe thermostat for appox area of 8sqm

any help appreciated

I fitted the Wickes underfloor heating in my bathroom 6-years ago, but used a temperature control from another supplier (no longer available).
I had difficulty securing the heater wires and they moved during tiling.
A better idea is the type that comes pre-fitted to a plastic grid. Screwfix do them.
I used the Wickes (Grey) waterproof tile adhesive/grout and granite tiles and can recommend both.
Electric heating is expensive to run, but for a small area it is a luxury worth having.
