I am actively seeking work and claiming job seekers allowance.
I am currently working on creating a little business, selling my homemade crafts, advertising locally to start with.
I am sure that I would be earning less than £50 a month from this.
I have had a couple of orders already, and thinking that I should really register as a business (would hate to be caught out), but would this affect my JSA ???

You would need to declare the income and be working less than 16 per week and be available for work.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

Any income at all has to be declared. They would knock off £50 from your £240 a month JSA.0

It is like someone can work up to 15 hours and 59 minutes but if you were getting paid £6 an hour totalling nearly £96 it would wipe out your JSA.0
