Bad start to the week for me, £10 in the tank and £4.75 on cigarettes (I know it's a disgusting habit and very costly, but I've cut down, honest guv!). £4.50 tonight at Slimming World too.

£10.75 left for the week then. I will not spend more than my purse allows!!

    Finally a Homeowner 04.10.13 :j

Well, I'm £9 down already. But I spent on the essentials for the week - groceries and toiletries - so anything left is free money.

I'm running low on petrol though, but I think I'll make it through until next week, so £11 left for me.

    Keep it up everyone.

For those who overspend in the first day or so - don't give up on the week. Still try to stick to a budget of some sort or you may just go overboard and spend spend spend.
    Looking forward to the future.

    Hey,

Had quite a fraught day yesterday and as a result spent the rest of my budget on chocolate. Found a lump by my armpit, off to the doctors this morning. Luckily Ive woken up feeling a lot more rational about it, but last night I was carping it and it was chocs away! So I'm up to my limit of £12.50 and will go over, but I'm not giving myself a hard time over it - I needed that chocolate! On the plus side in Camden yesterday I only bought some tights which were already budgeted for, despite 100s of pretty dresses ;)

Shoegal - please don't give up! Sometimes I fail miserably, but when I'm green at the end of the week it feels really good :o
