    Morning all,

I hope you're all ok and looking forward to the extended weekend? I can't wait, four days of doing not a lot and watching trashy telly - yeah!!!

I'm feeling a bit better today, though that cloud of debt is still there but I know that in time with lots of dedication and nsd's I will get there. I'm going to look upon it as a personal challenge.

Right moving on - I've been pro active in my bringing my dfd closer. yesterday I did all my daily clicks. I'm running out of things to search for on high street on the web etc! Oh well, who am I to complain as it's free money :rotfl:

The books aren't moving on greenmetropolis  so I might have to look into listing them on amazon or play - even though I don't want to pay fees.

Car boot season is upon us, so I'll have to start sorting through the carp and decide what I want to take. I've never done one before, does anyone have any words of wisdom/advise?

There's still no news on the future of my other half, it's starting to get me down as I hate waiting for things. Which might explain why I got myself into all this debt in the first place!?!?!

I'm doing better than I thought at the nsd this month, so far I'm on my 6/20. :T If I can go over 20 I'll be dead chuffed and may even have to do a little dance to celebrate  Ok maybe not as my danciing isn't that great.

Right I'd better crack on with some work.

Keep smiling and don't worry eat chips!

    Good Luck:T:T
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I've survived another lunch hour without spending any money. :j Yes I've got that warm fuzzy feeling inside especially as some of my work colleagues have spent a small fortune on lunch.

All I need to do is resist the temptation to pop into Tescos' on the way home. It doesn't help that I live next to a Tesco's Metro and a Chinese restuarant. Luckily the smell from the latter does put me off.:D Plus it means my waist line benefits too!

I'm running low on motivation today - however the sun is shining and I got my health, work with a cracking bunch of people who keep me smiling - so I should be smiling!!!

    Morning,

Fingers crossed I'm still able to post from work, as we're no longer able to access facebook.

I'm pleased to report that last night I refrained from popping into the Tesco Express and spending money on stuff I didn't need. :j As I've got a freezer and cupboard overflowing with food.

Today is a different story - I need to pop into town to go to the bank so that's 55p wasted straight away on parking, unless there's a free parking space available - which I doubt.

I'll be poppiing into the bank to deposit some money into a saviings account and paying a bill. I might even treat myself to a cup of coffee and a piece of cake too?

I'm feeling more posititive again today, as I know that my debts are slowly but surely decreasing, I'm with a non fee paying dmp and I'm doing little things to make sure that my dfd comes quicker.

On occasions I do miss the nice clothes, going out etc, but I'd rather have no debt than lots of material things. In fact having this debt has enabled me to enjoy the finer/free things in life, such as the contryside where I live, the joy of walking into town rather than driving, cooking from scratch and finding a bargain.:T

Enough of my rambling, I'd better crack on and do some work!

    Keep smiling!

Here's a quick update on the spend situation after popping into town at lunchtime.

I succesfully managed to deposit £380 into our joint savings account. This is going to be used to either pay off my debts when it reaches a nice amount of be used in 5 years time as a desposit on a larger house?

I did end up spending 55p on parking, £2.30 on a sandwich which I didn't really enjoy that much and then £10.50 in Tesco on a black blouse (much needed), a DR who book for my newphew which he'll enjoy much more than an easter egg and some chocolate :o:rolleyes: I will admit now that there's nothing left of the bar of galaxy

I've spent hte majority of this afternoon doing my daily clicks - I'm liking topcashback at the moment, as they have 2 x5p ones - very nice.

I'm really looking forward to the long weekend - eating lots of chocolate and relaxing with a good book and a glass or two of baileys. YUM!

Roll on home time as there's some banoffie pie waiting for me in the fridge. I've got a very sweet tooth at the moment

Thanks beanielou - your kind comment is making me blush!

It's almost the weekend - yeah , I really can't wait for 6pm to come, so I can switch of the reoccuring alarm on my phone.

Last night I managed to avoid all temptation of popping into the Tesco Express to buy a trashy magazine. Instead I decided to read a Jackie Collins book which I feel contains more than trash than Heat Magazine. :rotfl::rotfl:

Today I'm not going to let my sweet tooth lead me down the path of tempation - yeah right who am I trying to kid and it doesn't help that someone has bought in some cakes. Don't people know that I'm on a diet :eek:

On the debt free front, I'm going to do all my daily clicks and onepoll surveys - slowly but surely the pence is mounting up into £'s, though I'm finding that the highstreet on the web doesn't track all the time. Plus I'm going to check green metropolis about every hour or so to see if any books have sold..doubt it though.

I've been a good girl and bought my own lunch in today - left over pasta, yoghurt and lots of fruit - yummy!

Right I suppose I'd better crack on with work and listen to people complaining about how skint they are but still manage to find money to buy an expensive sandwich at lunchtime!

Keep smiling everyone and don't worry eat chips :-)

    Hi bookaddict

Have you tried List Books if Green Metropolis is not working for selling you books. I tried it for the first time today - nice and easy to use. Just type in List Books intor your browser, go down the first group of book sellers and you will find it. Not sure how successful it will be. Has anyone else used this website?

    Hi Smiley,

I've never heard of them until now - it will certainly be one of my many chores for this weekend. I don't want to give them away as the majority of books look brand new.

I've got the craving for a sandwich - a BLT - but I know that if I do buy one I won't enjoy it - as I'll have to fight my way through the traffic, the old biddies and screaming children in the supermarket and by hte time I get back to work I'll have about 10 mins to eat it.

Time to crack on and do some work!

You'll all be pleased to know that I resisted tempation at lunchtime to purchase a sandwich, I stuck with my pasta and yoghurt! Plus it's been another NSD for me too - yeah :j:j

ASOS, Long Tall Sally and sewandso have got sales on at the moment and whilst I had a look and dribbled over some rather nice garments and cross stitch kits, my debit card didn't come out of my purse. :T Plus I know my other half would shout at me for buying another cross stitch kit when I've got lots of half finished kits sat in a draw/:rolleyes: I will get round to finishing them one day, promise!

It's nearly my home time - yeah! I can't wait and I'm looking forward to sitting on the sofa watching trashy telly until the early hours of the morning! That's if I can stay awake!:D

Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend and doesn't eat too much chocolate!!
