Room almost finished

Decided after 9 years that our sitting room needed a revamp. After a lot of deliberation, will we buy new carpet? will we get new suite? This is how it ended up...............

So total we intended to spend was £1454

Wallpaper and paint [strike] £150 [/strike] £100 for wallpaper and used paint I already had
decorator £75
Suite [strike]£615[/strike] £594 as had a voucher for £10 and some thinsg to go back to store.
Bookcase/display unit £140
Curtains [strike]£54[/strike] £20 in argos, just could not make myself pay teh extra lol
Curtain Rail [strike]£30[/strike] £5 in B&M
Carpet [strike]£135[/strike] £85 for a remnant of same carpet
carpet fitting £25
new fireplace[strike] £250[/strike] Nil decided to keep old one
new Mirror [strike]£60[/strike] not got one yet but not paying £60
Canves picture [strike]£45[/strike] putting up some old pictures again
Cushions 5x£12 [strike]£60[/strike] went to B&M and got them for £3 so £15
throws [strike]2x£20 £40[/strike] £8 each in ikea so £16


so total spent is £1069 :T saving £385.

This was partly because I had run out of money and partly because I kept thinking " is it really worth that much ? "

So just need to find a cheap mirror now and room will be finished.:rolleyes:

some nice mirrors in dunelm for about 10/30 quid.

Finished, ended up buying a plain mirror in ikea lol baragin £15..............all done and was able to sit and enjoy tonight :T
