Lidl car park

"We " have a car and it could be any of 5 people driving it, the RK is not responsible for any alleged contract, only the driver, and the RK is not obliged to say who the driver is even if known.
And of course, it is not evidence of the car being parked for any specific period of time or at all.0 -
Sainsburys use ANPR cameras to see when customers are entering and leaving.0

Not seen them at my local Sainsbury or B&Q yet. Keeping an eye out for them too.
However, it still does not detract from the whole thing being a complete scam to begin with IMO.0 -
These tickets are not legal in Scotland. Just ignore them and they can't do a thing.0

I suspect you meant clamping which is illegal on private land in Scotland.0 -
maybe so but my local lidl has a 1.45 hour limit on their car park
plenty of time to park & shop
if people didnt take the pi$$ then supermarkets wouldnt have to do this sort of stuff to keep parking free for paying customers
If Lidl (or any other store) had a problem with parking, then simply install barriers & get a "get out of here card" when you make your purchase within the allotted time, do not employ thugs to do your (illegal) work for you.0 -
If Sainsburys fine me £60 for a parking transgression then surely Lidl should only charge £24.99, no credit cards accepted, you have to queue for the one cashier to pay your fine behind someone in bad need of deodorant? The man without a signature.0

These are not "fines", they are just invoices for an alleged breach of contract. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
