I've just bought a new "personal media player" but the only way to get video on to it seems to be from the computer. My old one could record direct from the TV, so life was simple, but how on earth do I get dvds on to the computer so that I can transfer them over? The pmp will play .avi, .vob, mpeg & dat files.
