tesco internet savings (yeap again)

Options
ive got one of these accounts and although it took years to open and to beable to actually get my money out ive now found that i cant put money in lol i tried to stop a DD last week but it said it couldnt be stopped as it was already going through. ok thats fine. but then this week when i try to put money in it says basically that the transfer authority has been cancelled. so ive had to re activate it and now i cant put money in for at lest 2-3 weeks while they send me another form to sign. does pressing the cancell button cancell the entire authority? how stupid is that. so heck knows when ill be able to put money back into the account

set up a standing order from your own account to tesco instead of a dd from tesco, ive always paid in my standing order only, and on some current account online sites they can be set up straight away (i know my lloyds one takes minutes thats all and then you can send a payment for a few days from now)

Simply set up a transfer from your current account to your Tesco account. That way you can transfer money whenever you want and if your current account can send Faster Payments it will be instantaneous.

have you got online banking if you are with lloyds then instead of setting up a regular standing order go to the "transfers and payments" option on the side and then select make a payment then "add a payee" you just need to put the account details of the tesco account and then save the payee details.

then whenever you want to make a one off payment go to the payments section, then select you can make a payment to the tesco account

tried a second payment yesterday and its not gone in my account (has left my bank account though) today rang them up and they said it can take 3-5 days although i explained its not a normal dd transfer and my other payment when in the next day as planned. its a larger amount though so im wondering if that has anything to do with it. hopefully it will be in tomorrow as i dont want large amounts floating in the middle of nowhere. its never that easy is it!
