Sorry...I know this is daft, but does one re-string from the outside (starting at the wide bit) in....or the inside (the not wide bit!) out????
The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on. It is never of any use to oneself. (Oscar Wilde);)

Not sure but I would start from the inside and work my way out. Difficult to get the tension right though!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

Absolutely...that's the bit that I'm struggling with...when the line is completely unstrung (bit like me!!!:rotfl: ) the arms go all wobbly and pull out of line easily.....I have only tried to restring it from the inside in so far.....maybe I should give it a go from the outside in and see if that makes any difference....it's not going to change the world if it takes me another 20 minutes or so to compare both methods is it!The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on. I'd start from the outside. That way at least you've got the long bits done before the string runs out? The short bits aren't much cop for hanging anything on anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

I've done this once, started from inside and worked out - needed assistance to stop the "wobbly arms" thing, but it's still good and in frequent use 8 years on!0
