Hi all.
I've got a Philips Wireless Base Station SNA6500 and a Thomson Speedtouch Modem. The Router is connected to my PC via an Ethernet cable. There is an ADSL cable that is supposed to connect from the router to the filter box. However the Thomson Speedtouch ADSL cable has to occupy this spot. How am I supposed to get around the fact that both ADSL cables are meant to go in to this one location ??
Have I boobed and bought an incompatible router or is there a solution ??
Thanks in advance.

If its the same unit as this http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000BVKEPY/202-3218179-4205453
You dont need the Speedtouch anymore, the phillips has a modem built in.0 -
You will have to enter your ISP username and pwd into the router config page to connect to your ADSL service.
Your manual on the Phillips should tell you how to enter the router config page. Usualy something like http://192.168.0.10 -
Thanks ever so much T4i, I am very, very grateful. I'd tried so many options and variations of cables and positions I was rapidly running out of alternatives and hope.
Everything is up and running now and my wife and son send their gratitude as well. You're a real star.
