It means that that is the time period for you to start looking at the sale, it won't let you in after 23:30, e.g. 23:40. If you don't put something into your basket within that half an hour you won't be able to buy, but apparently once you've put things in your basket you can carry on after that half hour.

I tried to book a slot, it said:
Our VIP Spring Sale is only available to a limited number of customers.

Pretty unfair, I spend £100 or more per month at next online and never get an invitation. Why is this?

Apparently its random, all I will say is its ALWAYS the same people who get a slot and ALWAYS the same people who dont. Wont go into it as I dont want a bashing off a certain few people.

Im not bothered this time as the sale is rubbish.

I'd really love the Peppa Pig lampshade i am just changing my little girls bedroom from her cot bed stuff to little girls items and really want the shade, if there is a kind soul out there who could try and get it for me and i could send a chq for payment and to cover the postage i'd be really really grateful. I don't have a slot as yet so poss not getting one.Obviously the chq would clear before i expected the goods.
