Good luck, not to put a dampener on it but we were on the market 1 week, had 3 viewings and 3rd viewers offered....only to pull out later.

Although if the worst happens (and I'm sure it won't!) at least you can be fairly confident you're priced correctly. After our buyers pulled out, the EA asked us if we wanted to lower the price (as we had accepted a lower offer than asking) but I said to keep it as it was as the price was still creating interest. And it still is.

Keep us posted! (come over the the 'selling in difficult times' thread, perhaps?:D

    Congratulations! :)

Sounds like you priced very well. Fingers crossed it goes through: push for as quick an exchange as possible - so if it falls through (hopefully it wont!), you can get on quickly.

Well done - a good house, priced correctly WILL sell :)

How long have you owned the house Jodie?

  • I had an offer after one hour on teh market last year. Despite the glowing survey report, the sale fell through two weeks later due to problems with people further down the chain having their mortgage offer withdrawn. Fortunately, it didn't cost us anything other than the lost sale.

    Good luck!

How much will EA and legal fees set you back? - I'm assuming you're going into rented afterwards? Sounds like you priced it just right, we are selling for about 2004 price as well :)
