Dept Collecting Agency Advice please.

I have been contacted on numerous occasions by a debt collecting agency for a debt I owed.
The problem I have is I have paid them in full for the debt, but they continue to ring me lots of times a day.
What should I do? Please help.

change your number? refuse to take the calls. write to them enclosing proof debt is paid and say you will treat any further calls as harrasment and repoty them to the relevent authorities?

You need to ask them to prove the debt. They won't be able to if it does not exist.

Regarding the calls. BT do a service called choose to refuse, basicly you can add their number to a list and they are banned from calling you .
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.
