Homealone, be careful. We're nice people but remember this site is accessible to all members of the public, some of whom won't be so nice.
Oh, yes, I can personally vouch for that. Bit late now, because millions potentially (including creditors or anyone who works for the one you are writing to) will have already seen it. Never give up online personal information like this. No, don't hit me but ... I had a very harsh lessson in this direction for example. More than harsh as it turned out in the end.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

It is very easy to open up to strangers and drop your guard. I'm sure, whatever your circumstance was, Merlin, you will have learnt a painful lesson. Don't be disheartened, Homealone, I think you can go back and delete something you've already posted to minimise potential damage - am I right folks? Can Homealone edit a previous posting? One life - your life - live it!0

Yes, course they can. Didn't mean to appear to be hijacking the thread (which I am not) but I had the attention of a particularly viscious thug (well a few of them, gang if you like who thrived on doing it to people) online when all that happened. Except in my case, they didn't know my name they somehow got hold of it and, very complicated things then ensued ... well, in the past, but I get worried when I see people give out too much personal information. I thought I was 'safe' you see, so it taught me to be more careful online. Anyway, yes they can edit. Least I can hours after I've posted something.
