BT Final Bill

I recently moved my broadband and phone line from BT and was wondering how long it takes for BT to usually sort out the final bill?
I used to pay a set amount per month and paid in advance for line rental and broadband so i think BT owe me some money.
I moved Broadband on 9th Feb and line rental 23rd Feb

Just got notification from BT today that my final bill is available.
Transferred voice service to another provider, which went through on 6 March.
Final bill is dated 20 March, which is about 5 or 6 day later than usual billing date of 14th or 15th of each month.0 -

BT final bills are 10 working days from the date of the service stopping. If you have not received the final bill within that timescale i would give them a call on 0800 800 150 as there may be a problem with your account ceasing correctly.0 -
A friend recently moved from BT to a new package with another provider. When BT didn't settle up in timely fashion, he sent them a final demand, typed in red and giving them 10 days to refund his £14.odd that was owed to him, otherwise he would pass it on to a debt collection agency! He recieved a phone call from BT, almost immediately, and received his money a couple of days later!0

Once your BT accounts are closed your Final bill should be with you around 10 days after that date. As we do charge in advance any refund will also be done on the final bill. I will be happy to confirm this for you. I have sent you a PM with my contact details.

Thank you for your reply i have spoken to BT today and it seems my account was closed on 1 system but not on another so was still showing as active, i have been told to expect my bill within the next 14 days.0
