Our Grundfos UPS 15-50 water circulation pump is now running 24 hours a day - even if the heating and hot water are off. I am sure it used to switch off a while after the heating went off - just to keep the water circulating evenly. But now its on all the time? Advice please.

Hi we have a Baxi Solo 2 PF - just been serviced. Funnily enough now it keeps cutting out every so often - for a few mins then re starts even if the wall controlled thermostat has not cut it out though the room / ambient temp reaching the setting.0 -
Hi
The pump is wired into the boiler electrical connections. There is an overrun to dissipate heat after the system has shut down. You should get someone to check it out. It might need a PCB, or stat.
