    Isnt it quiet on here tonight. Most peeps must be off doing Mothers Day type things :o
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    Hi

    I have had a mixed day today. I got a lovely bunch of flowers from my daughter, who is away at Uni and a beautiful card in which she had written a fantastic poem. It made me so happy.

    Sadly my Mum is no longer with us, so was quite teary about that.

    Then my Dad gave me my birthday card today (as i won't be seeing him on the day) and explained that for some reason the card he had got me, was a bit inappropriate because it was really for a young daughter, but then said I always think of you as my baby anyway (I am 48 next week, but I am the youngest) and as he normally doesn't show his feelings in that way, choked me up again!

    Now I am watching Dancing on Ice and fancying Donal more and more each week ;)
