Oh, popped into 'former' job today (Alan Ward furniture) and had lunch with lovely friend-anyhoo, they have jobs going...It would kind of be a step back in that the hours are crap (ie weekends) BUT at least I liked the job! Dont know what to do....DH would have a dicky fit.

Ring her up ( your Mum, not Septic Peg! ) during the week and ask her if she can smell gas?....then turn your phone off

    Glad to hear it.

What do you want to do? (I have to confess to not knowing if you're in a job at the mo or what.) A good tip I got told once was toss a coin, and whichever outcome you're secretly hoping for is the one you should do.

cruel man :rotfl: It was bad enough yesterday - I asked my dad to ask her for a scanned photo of my grandparents for an anniversary card. She called me as I was driving and then about an hour later. I answered and she said 'oh good, you're ok, I was getting my knickers in a twist because I've left you messages everywhere'.............1 on my mobile and 1 on my landline........

Remember the Marchioness disaster in 88/89 on the Thames? The next day she was frantic with worry that I had been on the boat......why? because I was living in London............ bless her..........:D
