Morning!
DH came home last night after I expressed my feelings about him staying out on Mothers Day-so instead I got woken up by him crashing about at 1 am. Anyhoo, got gorgeous cards from kids this morning and a gift voucher so I can buy myself some new trainers! Woohoo! That's pleased me. Breakfast made for me and DH back at work now so meeting lovely friend for lunch today and then DH is bringing tea home for us and the outlaws. I am going to get myself the trainers today and have to go for a run and tidy the house....
Sun is shining which is nice!
Buffy ((hug)) My sister had a hamster who lived for over 3 years! Bless his little furryness.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

ahhh, but you know they all love you spud. I think Mother's Day is getting so commercial these days. When I was a kid it was just about kids making something at school and it being a 'surprise' for their Mum, now its about restaurants/pubs etc and the supermarkets bellowing at us to buy this CD for your Mum, take your Mum for a pampering treat  Father's Day was almost non-existent 20 years ago and it's slowly, very slowly increasing in prominence in the shops.

I quite fancied the CD they've been advertising, Housework Songs I think it's called. But I hated they way it was advertised :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I loathe going out to lunch on Mother's Day, past few times we've done it, it's like being on a conveyor belt. We had a nice meal at home last night, five of us for under £25 and mum got some make-up she wanted from me and my brother.
Heard Jade Goody died this morning, her poor kids

So sad for Jade's boys that she died on Mothers Day

Hey spud I can beat that
I have at least half a dozen loads of washing and the baby is in full poo mode today. My son muttered happy mother's day then asked to borrow £10
I've just chatted to a good friend of mine who owns a beauty salon, she's just got a new IPL machine so I'm going over there in a couple of weeks to have my face done, goodbye sun spots and wrinkles.
Jazzie is on the mend, she's drinking loads now and has had a bar of cadburys caramel this morning. Last night she had a huge bowl of ice cream so hopefully she'll be home in the next day or two.
Happy mother's day to all of the mummies.:A

Wonderful news Toto! Glad she's on the mend.
I get to clean the house today in anticipation of the inlaws...

Morning all!
Feeling good - no hangover here - had smoked salmon bagels, scrambled eggs, coffee and oj for brekkie this morning and now resting in bed - the only thing lacking a newspaper
Hope everyone has a great day
