    I've been a few times Jinky-it's pretty much the only holiday destination when you live in Canada but I cant wait to go with the kids! I know they will LOVE IT!

    I have a huge fleece, gloves on and a thermal blanket wrapped round me, the heaters are on and I'm STILL freezing!

    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Evening all

    I've read the thread in dribs and drabs so can't remember who did what/where/when.....but I think hugs are in order for a lot of you, espically Toto - I really do hope that Jasmine feels better soon, you must all really be stressed to the max at the moment...fingers crossed that she's home soon.

    In-laws invited us out to lunch today and then sat and sniped at each other for the majority of the time, then FIL was given the bill and passed it to MIL with a "well you invited them" comment....made me feel about an inch tall.

    Popped into Matalan to look for some jeans for DD1, no luck...where do you buy skinny jeans to fit a 13 year old who's 5'3 and can fit into an age 7 waist? It's hard work.....Anyway - saw some gorgeous oversized glass storage jars (think retro sweetie jars) and had to have them....wasn't till we got home I realised that the dappy assistant didn't charge us for them...mind you if she'd not been so busy talking about who needed sacking for turning up late to her friend, then she might have noticed.

    DD's have both now gone to bed to watch telly and DH is in the bath trying to ease his back....I've had a glass of wine which has made my eyelids droop and I think I'll be in bed before 8pm...what a raver!
