its safe, but dont know how comfy it will be staying there 7hours overnight.

I dont think there wont be any cafes or anything open, and i dont know if they would let you stay in the main area around check-in.
There are some more comfy seats upstairs before going through passport control, but whether that will be open - i havent a clue.

    i hope this helps -
i would give them a call, see what is open and what happens.

I don't know if you've seen this, but this site might be helpful for you (and any others planning to spend a night in an airport!)

probably because its Liverpool.....and people who have never been here tend to have a warped view of scousers and the city...but hey, maybe Im wrong and she would have these concerns about any airport in the country!!!
  • Hi

Dont know if this is of any help, but we also have an early morning flight from liverpool take off at 06.45 in April, and i have booked into the Travelodge as they have got great offers on for £10 per night, they have two hotels in liverpool, both not to far from the airport i think. So i have booked a room for the night before travel for two adults and two teenagers for £10 per room.
  • Liverpool airport isn't the biggest airport around. I've flown from there a couple of times and there's no big lounge areas to chill out and relax, just the few restaurant areas.

From the sleepingairports site where i found a burger king restaurant with loads of leather couches that were more than an invitation to lie down...
I can't remember seeing any when i flew from there 25 days ago, although i did fly from there in October and they'd moved the bar around opposite Burger King so they may have done the changes in January and got rid of the leather sofa's at the same time.

Personally i wouldn't recommend sleeping there.
