I don't know if you are right or not but the OP (on this thread at least) is not typical of someone out to cause disruption, and that is the motivation behind most AEs.
Indeed, it is a question someone else out there may need to know, if not the OP, and I have learnt from it too!
The posting styles do look similar though, I agree.0 -
I'm not quite sure what I'm being accused of here exactly. But I can assure you, I am not that other poster from that other thread, nor am I here to cause any disruption or trouble. I merely needed some help with my ctax issue, that's all. And I am grateful for the help you've given me.
As for using bold: I'm only using it to emphasise important points in the message, as an aid for someone quickly scanning through it.0 -
I deal with bailiff issues and not experienced with the legality of council tax....unlike the many posters on here (great advice from everyone!!).
However I would strongly suggest that you do attend the hearing.
This is at the Magistrates Court and you can put your case forward and hopefully they will NOT grant the order. Representatives from the council are always on hand at the hearing. This is a simple hearing. Please do go as you can also ask for them NOT to apply costs etc ( around £85!!) In particular it is likely that they will not grant the Liability Order as there is a query on the amount due !!
