Laptop anti virus

I have Norton's on my PC and laptop. It seems to be slowing laptop down, would it be ok to uninstall it from lapstop and download Avast or AVG.

Yes just make sure you download the new AV and firewall first, go offline then uninstall
Norton and then install the new software... I suggest....

just go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and it's all listed there....one bit is called "LiveUpdate" all the others have norton in the name....just remove each bit and it should all go with no problemsEx forum ambassador

Running NIS2006 on desktop, doesn't slow it down what so ever, did have it on my laptop, which was slow, it is an old laptop though... Decided it was time to wipe it, reinstalled windows and tried avg and zone alarm, the !!!!!!s just as slow, cant see any difference in the speed........If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.0

No it's 2 months old, and slowed down when Norton was installed.if i had known then what i know now0
