trampoline safety enclosure

Options
hi, not sure if i am posting in the right part, so please feel free to move this:confused: .
i have a safety enclosure for my trampoline, but where the net fastens to the poles at the top, with 'd-rings', the strap has ripped away from the net.
i tried sewing it back on with cotton, but all 3 ripped straight off again. i was wondering about using fishing wire, but not sure how well this would work. does anybody have any suggestions please?? thanks very much.

    What's the net made of?
  • hi, the net is just made of material, i have no idea what kind:o , but it has quite a strong edging around the top, which is where the rings have ripped off it. it is the stitching which has ripped rather than the net itself, but normal cotton is just not strong enough. thanks

How about the sort of stuff they use in sails. Can you get this at a ?chandlers. Not sure if that is the right word. I would have thought it must be pretty strong.
    Or contact the manufacturer?
  • thanks for your replies, i can't remember where i bought the trampoline, and it doesn't have a brand name on it anywhere!! so.... might just ring up a manufacturer anyway, and ask them what they think i should use:confused: worth a try;)
