Laptop 4 way scroll button problem

I have just re-built my newly delivered acer5024wlmi.
However since re-installing windows my 4 way scroll button does not work and i can't work out how to make it go again!
Anyone know how i can do this - my eyes are tired and google has failed me thus far.

for the laptops touch pad that may affect the way it works.0 -

I've got these drivers installed: Synaptics TouchPad Driver 7.12.2.0

Thats the drivers installed for the pointer settings if you see this Icon
Right click it and select Pointing device properties what I was on about
in the previous post was get the drivers if they are not installed.
Another Example of the Synaptics pointer below.

Thanks for the help but i have now narrowed down the problem. It seems tht for some reason the button wil not work in firefox bt is ok in ie.
It works just fine in ie which bugs the hell out of me as i love firefox. If anone knows how this can be solved i'd be a happy man!Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......0 -
