Thanks so much, I have booked Minehead for 17th July. Be quick everyone, Bognor was also available. There are going to be alot of unhappy people as they were definitely not available to begin with.

No, they weren't available last night when I was looking. I'll call my brother thanks, they still haven't decided on a break yet so increased availability is great :)

This is so confusing! I put in the august dates and july 17th (the 24th was back, but is now gone again - is it just me? lol!) and the 3 butlins plus the aprk my brother wants, and was told no!

I changed the butlins to half board and was offered all 3 at half board after juggling around, just for 17th july and then was offered the butlins self catering too? jiggling around seems to make a difference?

I don't think ALL sites are available on ALL dates :(
and the booking process could be more user friendly IMO !

hate having to input at least 3 dates & parks,
as have to then play around with different combos ! grrr

    Glad you got something :)

we had to settle for July 17th too!
would have rathered 24th or 28th Aug but never mind
saved a load of ££s so am happy :D

Had to read that again to make sure it wasn't me who posted it :rotfl: another one from S. Wales who tried for the 24th or 28th and ended up with Devon Cliffs on the 17th.

I know very naughty, looks like postal applications for butlins are going to be the priority.

I tried a few sites on the Haven and Parkdean websites before I booked and they had dates available for 24th and 28th August but nothing for the Sun hols.

Probably holding them back to try and sell them at the crazy prices Rachie B referred to.

which is fair enough I spose

if people are mad enough to pay that ... !
though you can book Butlins etc with tesco clubcard deals too,so doubt whether anyone pays "real" money for these overpriced holidays!

I am just glad to have gotten something ,went away in Feb half term, and not going on holday again til Oct half term

so that would have been a looooong gap between holidays! lol

Yep , can't blame them , it's not as if they make anything on the food and drink at the unbelievably low prices they sell it for  so they need to make their money up somehow.

Seriously though , can't complain with a caravan for under £40 a night in the school holidays , just need to save up some " bar money " now so Haven can make a bigger profit on my stay.
