I can't vouch for the holiday park but carmathan bay and the coast around that area is stunning. Great sandy beaches and clear waters,seals etc. on par with west cornwall coast.

Thanks for posting your reply. I had already booked Southsea but was starting to have doubts but now reassured thank you! Were the passes optional? where there any other charges?

We intend to use it as a base for days out in the area and possibly IOW and/or ferry to France which is £20 day trip return (fast ferry) to Cherbourg with Brittanny ferries.
