I thought it was better than the last couple of years, maybe I just got lucky on the day??
Ended up with about £50 of moc that I can use in Mr T's, loads of samples and freebies, make over etc: ...........
LLHmm ..I've heard the total opposite - that it's the worst it's ever been this year with hardly any freebies and that there's only one floor of stalls.
I'm going tomorrow as traditionally, the last day has the best bargains. What were the highlights for you?
Were there a few make up stalls? We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -

As per my previous post, if you go to freebies thread there's a post where you can get up to 2 tickets and they are valid anytime.
Thanks.

thanks but i think we are at crossed purposes. I was asking if the Ideal home offer link that was posted is only valid for the day you are visiting, the link sent to the website but when i went to print the ticket it was dated yesterday. The link i think you were referring to was for The Grand Designs Live
the grand designs tickets in martins e-mail are only valid weekdays 27th april-1st may. I managed to print two and those are the restrictions on them0 -

No they're not grand designs. I applied for these myself and my email states they are for the ideal homes show. If you click in the freebies section there was a post about it. Only trying to help. Good luck.0 -
Here you go (if I'm not allowed to do this I'm sorry so please feel free to delete this if I've done wrong).

I normally go to this show as it's just down the road - used to either get free tickets from npower or get them for a few pounds on ebay. This year, didn't even know it had come round again! Haven't seen any publicity for it at all!0

There is a free ticket inside each copy of Ideal Home magazine for the Ideal Home Show on sale now. Plenty in the shops.
I was disappointed that there was only one floor last year and it seems from posts so far it is not very good in 2009. I look forward to this every year so I am hoping it is not as bad as it sounds!
WARNING! ......don't bother now. The free ticket inside April ideal Home magazine is only valid until 1st April 2009  Yet the show is open until 13th April.
Had been planning to go the last week, and the April mag only hit our local shops (I live in South East outside London) in the last few days)....funny that...
Hope this saves other people wasting their money like I did.
Thanks to links on MSE I've found free anyday tickets now...
