Hi, I still haven't tracked down the magazine with the free ticket yet but will have a look when I arrive in London. Can anyone tell me if these tickets are valid at the weekend or is just weekday?

    Thanks

OMG - I just came here to see if anyone had any discount codes for tickets. Was planning on going tomorrow, but after reading the comments, don't think I will bother. Last time I went was about 6 or 7 years ago, and sounds like its deteriorated horribly.

If anyone needs to buy tickets, the only discount code I could find was MVCP. This gets you tickets for £10 if you book on-line, plus a £1 booking fee and the free show-guide and magazine.

I went tonight with the free 'after 5pm' ticket. It really is a complete waste of time.
Some of the stall holders were complaing that time was standing still.
I heard lots of comments and none of them positive from customers and sellers.
It seems to be a bad joke year for the show.
On the other hand the Vitality was .......... THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great time in there today

  • Anybody else been to the Vitality Show? Was going with a friend today but decided against it after Monday's visit to the IHS. Still can't find anydiscount codes though - any ideas?

    Thanks

Went yesterday and it was great, well worth the ticket price (although I was lucky enough to have had a free ticket).
Plenty of testers, tasters and LOADS of moc's!
To many to mention, just a tip, don't throw ANYTHING away without first checking it, I found a few hidden coupons, including some for 4 pack free shape yogs, 75p off same packs and 50p off again.
No idea where they came from, must have been in a goody bag.
The Zest bag cost £5 and has loads of samples etc;, so thought that was a good buy.
Also don't forget your free goody bag as you leave the show.
If you have a ticket for either Vitality or Ideal home, it seems you can upgrade your ticket for £5 to the other show if that makes sense.
I saw 2 ladies get into ideal show by asking!
Probably just caught someone on a good day, can't imagine that is normal practice??

    Lindy-Lou its well worth going..........GO!!!
I'm off to La Dolce Vita today and hope to have as good a day as yesterday.
after moaning about IHS I may pop back in (with my free after 5pm ticket) to buy a bean bag child chair £20 and 2 pop up Knights castles @ £15 each, just couldn't carry them yesterday.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Ideal Home Show should be completely free?

After all, basically its just a huge big hall full of companies trying to get you to buy their wares. Why should you have to pay for the privilage for lots of companies to try and sell stuff to you?

Hmm ..I've heard the total opposite - that it's the worst it's ever been this year with hardly any freebies and that there's only one floor of stalls.

I'm going tomorrow as traditionally, the last day has the best bargains. What were the highlights for you?

Were there a few make up stalls?
  • There's a thread in freebies where you can get tickets to this show absolutely free, I think you can select up to 2 tickets and you get emailed a ticket. Might help those wanting to go but not wanting to pay.
