Maybe the OP had made other plans because she was expecting rain. And didn't realise that, when it turned out to be a lovely day, she could go outside?

Met some British people in France once who were complaining how ignorant the French were. She was shouting at them asking for "FRITZ!FRITZ!" ,she meant "freet" as the word frites is pronounced-chips-and why couldn't the !!!!!!s understand her.

    Hi,

In the OPs defence, if I went on a package holiday & had the use of a rep, then I would expect them to know the things FortyFoot was asking about ... bus tickets, etc .... I tend not to go on package holidays, but the ones I used to go on .... I would expect the rep to know these things!

To be fair to the rep, maybe she had just arrived in the resort and hadn't been given sufficient time to find out about the resort to the extent that the OP seemed to expect.

Or maybe she was just one of those reps who aren't really interested in doing the actual job, she's just there for the experience. Before anyone jumps on me, I DO appreciate that there are some really good reps out there.

Years ago, we had a rep in Alanya who really was rubbish.
Whenever we spoke to her she was just interested in getting us to book the beach BBQ excursion - "lots to drink".
We wanted to visit the castle by bus but she told us there weren't any and to get a taxi.
We found a bus timetable nailed to a telegraph pole, the buses ran (pretty much on time) so we told her about it.
    Her response?
"Are you coming to the beach BBQ, you'll get lots to drink".
I think her IQ was on a par with her age - she was very young.

Maybe the OP DID have a rep like that, but he could have done what we did and found out the information himself.

And the comment the OP made about the weather is laughable - and is maybe the reason he's not come back and explained the one thing that I might have been annoyed at - the departure 'problem'.
