Bank Overdraft - Did not sign anything

Hi,
My bank account overdraft limit rose from around £500 to £6k almost overnight, quite a few years ago, even though I never requested it or signed any paperwork. Being naive at the time I took full advantage of it, and am now paying it back monthly. What i wanted to ask was, does anyone know whether this is standard practise or not, and if there's anything I can do about it, as I did not ask for it?
I know and accept it's my own fault for taking advantage of it, but just thought I'd ask.
Many Thanks.

Banks regularly increase/reduce overdraft and credit card limits, it will be in their T&C's. You dont have to accept it and will have received a letter informing you of the change.
Yes you were naive but its your own fault so you will have to pay it back as you spent it originally, dont think you can blame the bank.0 -
The bank increased it and you used it. Your fault I'm afraid.0
