Can I say a Big Big Thanks to HappyPig for organising the forum we will use when this one is down, I have now registered.

Also has anyone put there Hubbys in for pay your bills or just themselves

I put mine and my hubbys - and it was his name that got called and he had no intention of going on the radio:rotfl: - but when I saw the name on here I rang up and thrust the phone at him, so he had little choice!:money:

I have been on my local radio station first thing this morning Heart Torbay short for Torquay and I texted in an answer to what I thought who the Generation Gap celebrity was with clues that were given by a lady called Joyce and then the DJ rang me back and I was ready for it as I expected it this morning as we had prearranged it on facebook last night and I spoke with Matt Rogan,they put you at ease,tell you what they are doing,find out your location where you are from eg my case was Teignmouth,then they do their spiel and you just listen until they bring you into the conversation and for me it was easy as anything,I got the first name right but not the surname but they laughed at my attempt of it and I did too,then they said was my answer right to Joyce the lady who had the clues and she replied well done and I said thank you Joyce,He said speak later and rang off,that was it.I had my moment of fame and got the mug.I enjoyed the experience and love chatting to people.I hadnt gone on air for such a long long time and I was calm and composed.

my key is just be you,act nateral and pretend you are chatting to a friend on the phone.Thats what I always do and it works.My nerves didnt even show on the Radio but I could hear what I was saying as my words echoed back to me.I couldnt be near my Pc whilst on the phone as if the radio was on in the background it can interfere with the machines they use to do the broadcasting so spoke in my lounge.
