To all you kind hearted MSE's please could you help me with ideas for my darling husband's 60th birthday. I am trying to arrange a get together for his family who live 250 miles away from us.
Usually I can arrange everything but have been feeling poorly as I am very anemic so have no energy at all.
My husband is the best father I could want for our four children and foster daughter and I would love to give him a memorable birthday. He is also a wonderful husband who never treats himself and is so family minded. He should be looking forward to relaxing more at his age but he is on the go all the time and as we have quite young children spends all his time making sure they are all happy.
My thoughts are group accommodation for the next bank hol weekend maybe in the North, we are in Manchester. a camping experience maybe in yurts or tents. There could poss be 20+ of us. Of course I don't want to land people with big bills and we can't afford to pay for it all, having 5 children still at home.
I would be so gratefully for ideas, even for the weekend after the bank hol weekend which might be cheaper.
Thank you
Sobby
