New freeview box .Now video doesnt work ????

Help please. Got a new freeview box but now the video doesnt work and all programs have to be watched through digi box.
If weather is bad or daughter is using hair dryer we just get big breaks in transmission.
We have the main aerial into video.
Scart from tv to freeview box.
Seperate scart from freeview to video.
(Spare scart socket unused in back of tv)
Any suggestions gratefully recieved on how we should have it wired.

Hi,
Your scart connections sound OK i.e Video>Digibox>TV.
The aerial is best going AE>Digibox>Video>TV.
Have you checked the signal strength on your digibox, if your getting interference from local mains it suggests that your signal is a bit low.
If you watch your video via scart you may need to put the digi box onto standby to enable the Video signal to get to the TV.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
