Goldfish credit card /Morgan Stanley

Hi, we have had a Goldfish Credit card for some years, been happily getting points most of the time 1p a pound, but last few months half a penny per pound to be spent in various big shops, we always go for Dixons,Currys,PcWorld, can always use them there and they do mount up, just bought a burner for our computer with vouchers for PC World.
We were just thinking of changing to Morgan Stanley because their offers were better, and blow me, TSB have sold Goldfish to Morgan Stanley, where does this leave us , should we go to Morgan Stanley as we thought we might, or stick with Goldfish and hope Morgan Stanley offer us the same rewards? Thanks, Best wishes oap's

  • I should wait until the takeover deal is finalised ,(stick with your current card for the moment) then watch for any new deals that morgan stanley might be offering and then ring them up and say either can I have this deal? or can you upgrade my card so that I might have the new benefits and THEN if none of that works, threaten to close the account and get a card off someone else ,mention egg or barclays etc. As you have such a good record I reckon they will offer you better terms or an upgraded card ,rather than lose your custom.
Use this site to compare deals for ammuntion when you 'phone them.Good luck! :)
