Noisy Pc - Help!

I have a good spec PC, but every time open any reasonably RAM hungry programs or the room is slightly warm the fan keep kicking in.

I know it is probably doing it's job, but it just seems to come on so frequently
for hardly any reason at all. The noise is driving me mad !

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Speedfan is an excellent program, that can control your fan speeds, as well as monitors all the temperatures of your mobo, psu,hd etc.

Maybe consider getting a better heatsink/fan for your cpu. Something that'll dissipate the heat better.

You could also buy better fans, like Panaflo, Pabst etc... for your case, so that air movement is better.

Or you could get a better case, although that's quite an extreme measure.
