Where do i stand

Options
Hi all, ordered over the web from a company 11 weeks ago, (DeealExtreme) Hong Kong based, parcel never arrived after two weeks so I was asking where is my parcel. They told me please be patient, weeks have passed now 11 weeks down the line still no parcel! They are willing to give me credit but are reluctant to give me a refund, the 45 day period for claims via pay pal has elapsed, where do I stand with this non UK company?
Thanks in advance

  • I would give them the benefit of the doubt, take the credit and order the goods again.

Not if they paid via Paypal.; -

"The goods or services must be purchased directly, and not through an agent or intermediary"

    From WHICH; -
When you can’t claim against your card company
There are some more complicated transactions where the company that dealt with your card payment is not the same as the one that provided the goods or services.
For example, if you buy something online and use Paypal or a similar payment service, your card payment is made to Paypal (on the agreement they will send the same amount to the trader).
But, since no card payment is actually made to the trader, the card company isn’t jointly liable if there is a problem with the goods or service.

Finally after four months of constant e messages talking to a person from Hong Kong who's grasp of the English language was limited got my money back. I will NEVER deal with this company again a hassle from start to finish. Steer clear of DealExtreme is my advice.

Deslextreme have always been fine and I and loads of friends use them on a regular basis. They are honk kong based but that is not an issue. Also I do not see where the problem is if they have offered you a credit note considering they do not know if you received the item or not.

Will happily continue dealing with them

They have a Forum on their site which has loads of customers with the same kind of complaint. I used them a few times but the last delivery was just too slow. Also a lot of the stuff seems to be fake.

I've ordered from them and the goods arrived in a week. Just take the credit and reorder, things do get lost in the post.

If you had bothered to read my posts they said the product was now out of stock so the only option for me was my money back which as ive said took four months of constant e-messages, a total hassle.
