I have a short video on my digital camera that I would like to transfer to an Ipod classic. Does anyone know of any free software that will allow me to do this? I understand i need to convert the video before transferring to the ipod.

I have an application called Any Video Converter which is really good and free.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

I always use this: http://guspaz.blogspot.com/2006/09/ipoddrop-15-released.html
It's free.. you just drag your video file onto the ipoddrop.exe file, then a black box will appear showing the progress of the conversion. No options, nothing.. it just converts most video formats to ipod-sized/compatible files0 -

Is it possible to convert these video clips into a format that could be put into Windows movie maker or any other software so that you could have the clips fading into each other rather than all seperate and then put them onto a disc?
Probably asking for far too much

Hi,
Downloaded Handbarake and converted a .movie file from my digital camera into a .avi.
Got this error message:
The file C:\Documents and Settings\Hall\My Documents\My Videos\Garden Test Video.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
I am not very computer literate and have not got a clue what the above is about. Could anyone give me full instructions on how to do the above please?Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend0 -
You can add the movie to your i-tunes library without converting it then under the advanced tab select - Create ipod or iphone version0
