Here's how:

The way I'm thinking of getting round PayPal having direct debit access to my bank account is by
(1) first register a credit card to pay for purchases
(2) when you begin selling, register a bank account to receive withdrawal funds
(3) Paypal will eventually make you become verified (this means they can take money direct from your bank account which saves them the credit card fees) and agree to a direct debit from your bank account
(4) Sign up to the direct debit with a second bank account (not the one which receives the withdrawals).
(5) When you become verified, remove this second bank account from your profile and cancel the DD.
I've already done this once, but now Paypal want me to do it again because the amount I've sold has triggered another money laundering check. Of course, they say they are doing it for my benefit to make managing my account easier. I'd much prefer they told the truth and said they were doing it for their benefit to save the CC charges.
Can anybody see any flaws in the above plan?0 -

It doesnt matter which account you use so long as you remove the direct debit mandate they then cannot take money out. Again this is another scam by paypal to increase their profits
