  • I don't know of any bank that would charge just £10 for a failed attempt for a payment and why would they try 5 times unless there was a reason to do so?

Artful, I have no connection to the company wonga, or the accountants, but can't bear to see embarrasing posts like this where the company actually hasn't done anything wrong!

I'd hate my companies to be under your "microscope"

    :T

They do say a little knowledge is dangerous !

In my experience when companies are under "proposal to strike off" or late with their return there follows more often than one would wish unfortunate and embarrassing revelations about the management of them. Clearly at other times there is an innocent explanation. We will see!

Could someone clarify which Balderton is backing Wonga, please??

    Best wishes to all,

    Artful

Don't know why I bother replying to you, but I've had a quick look at Balderton's site

    http://www.balderton.com/our-portfolio/

Their portfolio is linked above, and by navigating their site they seem fairly kosher (they are the LLP which had filed full accounts, therefore presumably audited - I'm not going to pay the £1 co's house fee to find out...) .

Don't fight a losing battle Artful !! As the other poster said - a little knowledge is dangerous. And I wouldn't be messing around, slandering companies like this on the internet.
