As above. just type in your post code in the find a property box. If yours is there, its registered. No need to spend £3.000

If you pay the £3, as well as the full address, it gives you the title number, price, names of registered owners and any lenders involved, and a current title plan on a map. So £3 well spent I think.

True, but a plan is a extra £3.00.0

Ooops, forgot that!!
Still, I think even without the plan it is worth £3 for knowing. Am I right in thinking that as well as stating who the lenders are, any charges will also show up if attached to the property?!

Yes. The title reg will show, if any, the first charge (mortgage lender) and any others (ocean finance!!!)0
