Firefox not remembering details

Such as customer numbers for A&L banking, or on Betfair chosing which page to open in, or google images not remembering 'no filter' so I can look at dirties. :)

Really annoying and don't know what I've done to alter it. Used to work fine.

Checked the basic 'tools, options, privacy, accept cookies' but other than that I'm a bit lost. Doesn't seem to be as many options as IE. :undecided

Are you running anything new recently? Such as CCLEANER (registry and general cr*p cleaner)?

No. Installed that at the same time as Firefox. But to be honest haven't actually used it yet.

Is it possible there is a schedule setup on it?

In CCleaner, Options-Settings, it can be set to start with Windows.
Check in Firefox that you have not set it to delete private info, Tools-Options Privacy.
    Move along, nothing to see.

Firefox doesnt work with the 'rememember me' part. It SHOULD come up at the top if you want firefox to 'remember the password', or to 'NEVER remember the password' for that site, or to do nothing at the time.

Yeah it has stored the password and username. Never noticed it didn't do that before.

Still not remembering the things in my first post though! :undecided

Guess I'll just reinstall it?

been doin that for me for ages - over a year prob. best bit is for some sites - rapidshare for eg - it remembers details about once in something between 6/7 if lucky and once in about 20-25 if unlucky.

Much as I like firefox it is the buggiest software I have used in 9 years on-line :(:(

You're not on Win2K are you - mine went more than a bit odd after Firefox 3.0.4 (ish), no changes to settings etc, just went bonkers in the 'ed (using an XP machine for posting now).
