Hi
I am getting married Saturday in a civil ceremony and I am having the traditional bridal march. Registrar has authorised it.
Not sure whether it is a local thing but I have been to other civil weddings with this too. Where did you get told you couldn't use it?0 -
i heard that you couldnt use anything with religious words or connotations (dont personally know if HCTB has any religiousness about it though), my mate couldnt have here comes the bride i think, but i may be getting third hand information)

i was told at the venues i've seen there is to be no religious readings or music but they provide bridal music.. or our own music.0

how about ''katy perry - i kissed a gurl'' hehe.. would be kinda cool :P
or really depends on ur taste of music.. and completely up to you.. and technically one of you or both is still the bride(groom) lol.. so whatever theyve told u is bull!:exclamati:female:choose life, choose to save money, choose to search higher and lower, choose martin lewis and rock the F**k on!! \\mm// :female::exclamati0 -
I'm walking down the 'aisle' to the first couple of minutes of Led Zep's Stairway to Heaven - just the flutey bit before Robert starts singing.....
Well, that's the plan!
Knowing my luck, the staff member in charge of the iPod will probably play Nelly the Elephant!0 -
Im walking down the aisle to a string quartet version of 'helena' by My Chemical Romance.
Well i hope i am, im getting married in a church, but as its not a chuch of england, it counts as a civil ceremony or something like that. The woman explaning was confusing me haha.x

Hate to say it but its true you cannot have any music or whatever at a civil ceremony that has any religious connotations - you can't even have Robbie Williams singing Angels.
Mrs Metallica - I see you have picked a song but I was thinking of Changes by Black Sabbath:D0
