Replacement Conservatory Roof

I currently have a conservatory that is approx 15 years old, the windows, door etc are still in very good condition. However, the roof which is a lean to style looks terriable, so I want to replace it with a Edwardian style roof. The size of the conservatory is 4m x 3m. We have been quoted £1,300 to replace the roof, is this a competetive quote?
Thanks

Not really sure what you're conservatory is made out of wood or PVC, is it glazed with polycarbonate or glass, but either way that sounds mighty cheap.
A roof is the most important part of any conservatory and should be specified after considering which way it faces i.e North South East West, for North and East facing conservatories keeping the heat in will be a major factor, and for South and West conservatories protection from the sun is a big consideration. Also on South facing conservatories its wise to consider the installation of an opening roof vent as this will help reduce heat build up quite considerably.
Hope that helps...... Good luck with the project!0
