I pass this on with good intention,
Emails entitled "postcard from Hallmark" contain a nasty virus which will destroy the Zero sector on your HDD thus knackering your PC.

Yes I jumped to quick I'm afraid I have just googled it (should have done so first) It's a hoax.

A good way to spot a hoax is the fact that it will most likely claim the virus will WIPE EVERYTHING! and CAN'T BE DETECTED BY ANY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE!
All the ones I've seen seem to include something along those lines. Don't give them the oxygen of publicity.

That's not to say that there aren't a lot of greetings card spam with malware attachments going around.
