hello
My digital canon ixus 40 screen has suddenly developed a blue tint on the LCD screen. The photos seem to be ok once transferred to a PC, but viewing them on the screen is not so good. The blue tint is strongest to the left of the screen where there is a permanent vertical line.
The issue is present in both the playback and take-picture modes.
Anyone know what could have caused it and if its fixable?
Thanks! :j

Left anywhere near some speakers or ontop of a TV or summet like that?
as magnets kinda lign up the crystals...
Or it may just be a bad ribbon cable, gently push on the screen to see if it will rectify
itself by pushing the crystals around, but apart form that could be pricey to fix.0 -
hmm...no it was just left in a drawer in a protective case. Cannot think of anything magnetic that might have done damage...
Although I have been on holiday recently and since it was packed in the hand luggage it would have gone through the security scanning equipment in the airport...has this ruined anyone else's camera screen?its pretty hard to drown a goldfish.0
