Hi
I have some questions about selection criteria. I have been shown a copy of the criteria I will be marked against and a couple of thought have entered my head.
To give a brief I work as a Business Development Manager (mainly new business sales)

- There are 2 sections that site years experience as how we will be marked - are they allowed to do this based on my age being 24 years younger than the oldest member of the 'at risk' group? It seems inappropriate to me to count years experience as someone in their 50's has obviously worked for a longer period of time that someone in their 20's
- There is a section about who you deal with at companies (i.e MD's, CEO's, junior management etc) - can this be fairly and objectively measured when the assessors do not know the job titles of our contacts or who we deal with?
- Revenue - this has been put at a monetary measure regardless of the fact that my target is nearly £1m less than one of my colleagues due to the area I work in. The lowest score you can get on here is still £350k higher than my annual target and last yaar I was the only one to acheive target yet it seems i wont be rewarded for this. I can not score any more than the bottom mark on this regardless of the fact that against budget I was the only one who was successful

Sorry, I am at risk of redundancy.
There are 4 BDM's and 3 will be made redundant so they have had to write a criteria that we will all be marked against and the highest score gets the 1 job available0
