Change in my working role

Thanks for that. I have seen my manager to day and told her I do not want to do the extra hours. She was fine about it. A comment was made that the work will have to be spread between the other admin worker and herself - which was designed to amek me feel guilty. But I feel good about saying what I wanted.
it will likely mean that in the future i will not even be asked but to be honest i just want to work my usual hours and go home.
mnay thanks for your replies.
well done!! Its hard to stand up for yourself (particularly with regards to jobs at the minute). You never know they may reconsider and decide that maybe they could give a little here and there and if they dont then your not being abused.
Pat yourself on the back for handling it so well.

Yeah, well done you. You wouldn't have got anything out of it in the long run. It's difficult to stick up for yourself but you definitely did the right thing.0
