Mpora Skate shoe winners

I dont know if anyone else from MSE has been in contact with ASA over not receiving the shoes but after having a success today with a win from before christmas with ASA chasing them I decided to email ASA about the mpora comp and received this email back.
Hi Christine,
I’ve just spoken with the advertisers, Mpora, who’ve explained that the company that was supplying the prizes has gone into receivership and is unable to fulfil their obligation to provide the shoes. The advertisers have been approaching other major shoe brands that have expressed an interest in taking over this competition, and advise that they believe they will be finalising a deal with the company that produces Vans very shortly.
On looking at out files, we did receive a couple of other complaints about this particular competition, but because the problem in this instance was something outside the advertisers’ control, we felt that allowing them the opportunity to make amends was more appropriate than a formal investigation. As you will no doubt appreciate, this will take some time. However, the advertisers have given us their assurance that the competition winners should receive their prizes by the end of this month.
However, if you do not receive anything after this time, please let me know and I will chase this up for you.
